Tucson Salvage - Tales and Recollections From La Frontera reading and doc showing in Brighton UK at the stunning Brighton Unitarian. Many kudos and finger pistols to brilliant writer Kirk Lake for joining us with his films and words, Brian's brother Barry Smith for showing up and serenading us with his mad psych electric violin and also Brian's sister-in-law, the lovely Moose Susan Azim, for kicking the packed event into high gear, and Brian's wife Maggie Rawling Smith for directing a great movie from the book. So many lovely people in Brighton. Literate, funny, smart.
